My name is Ndalahwa Masanja . Currently, I am pursuing
a PhD in Higher Education Administration.
I like traveling and meeting different people. I like to mingle with different
cultures and learn from them. Whenever I have opportunity, I try to visit
new places and interact with people from diverse cultural backgrounds. I really
believe we can learn a lot from others and lasting education comes from an
exposure to various environments. Additionally, I like to read inspirational
books and watch educative TV programs.
My goal is to work in higher education. I like to work in higher learning
institutions and thus improve the quality of education. This is the basic
reason for joining the higher education program at Andrews University.
I read and write a lot due to the nature of this academic program. At
present, I am writing a doctoral dissertation entitled "An examination of the relationship between financial incentives and perception of student choice at private Michigan universities". The
purpose of this study is to investigate the role that financial incentives play
in students’ selection process for their choice of an undergraduate degree
granting higher education institution. In addition, there are a lot of new publications which have been
written in higher education which I’m interested to know.

Ndalahwa,
ReplyDeleteThis is a good intro page. However, the "it" in the next-to-last line should be an "in" and that reference to reading inspirational books echoes a very similar comment earlier (last line of 2nd paragraph); these two statements should be consolidated at one or the other location.
Blessings,
